Captain Adam Marks has held a USCG license since 1993 & has been full-time live aboard the past 5 1/2 years on Sunseeker Manhattan 73 “Born To Run “2017-2019 & Princess Y -78 “ BreakAway” 2019-Present with 2000 hours underway between the two power yachts as well as many more on deliveries running other Vessels.

Born in RI, sailed New England during my child hood beginning at age of 3 into the years I attended URI. During the summer did cruises to the Cape Cod and the Islands on our family’s O’day 22 (74’-75’) C&C 29 (76’-81’) and Newport 41 (82’-94’). Spent over four decades of sailing on Narragansett Bay, Long Island Sound, Buzzards Bay, Vineyard and Nantucket sound, Cape Cod Bay, Gulf of Maine spending the majority of my life on the water sailing.

- Managed warranty issues as needed
- Oversaw sea trials and commissioning
- Averaged 3 day charters per week and 20 trips per season with up to 13 guests and 35 for parties
- Handled dockage, port paperwork, and fueling at all ports
- Prepared vessel for charter use
- Managed frequent back to back schedules and 24 hour turn arounds
- Discuss season charter goals, budgets, and expenses to the Owner including payroll, dockage, fuel, supplies, repairs, and maintenance requirements
