Captain Adam Marks has held a USCG license since 1993 & has been full-time live aboard the past 5 1/2 years on Sunseeker Manhattan 73 “Born To Run “2017-2019 & Princess Y -78 “ BreakAway” 2019-Present with 2000 hours underway between the two power yachts as well as many more on deliveries running other Vessels.

Welcome aboard “Lake Effect” The vessel we operate is a Donzi 35 ZF with twin fuel efficient 300 HP outboard engines.
The Donzi 35ZF is a high performance center console designed by renowned American designer Donald Aronow that cruises @ 40-45 MPH & tops out at over 60 MPH . The boat has a stepped deep – V hull for both comfort & speed offshore.
The vessel boasts a high-end stereo system, up to date marine electronics package with Radar, ample seating for 6 guest max , marine toilet & sink + cuddy cabin forward to stow personal items.

In addition to day charter, we offer high speed water taxi service that is billed on a hourly rate while the vessel is dispatched . Please inquire about your particular needs.
Rates are based on
1/2 day 3.5 hours $1400 + fuel
Full day 7 hours $1800 + fuel
Fuel is charged to the client at the end of the trip , we can give you an estimate of cost prior to trip based on the places you wish to go.
The highly qualified Captain/ USCG Master 200 Ton ( We only use Captains with at least 15-20 years of experience for passenger safety) is paid directly by the charter guest at a rate of $500 to $700 /full day or $400 to $450 for 1/2 day . Cash , Zelle, Venmo & Credit Card are accepted forms of payment. Captain rates can vary based on the particular captain that is available to run the boat.
Gratuity of 15 to 20% of the charter rate is industry standard.
You may bring your own snacks & drinks we have Yeti coolers, the boat supplies drinking water, soft drinks & ice.
In addition to yacht delivery, Captain Adam offers boating instruction. We shall teach our client proper boat handling & docking maneuvers, seamanship skills & most importantly prudent marine decision making.
The vessel may be anything from a 30’ center console up to a much larger yacht that the client is eventually wishing to be an operator of

Born in RI, sailed New England during my child hood beginning at age of 3 into the years I attended URI. During the summer did cruises to the Cape Cod and the Islands on our family’s O’day 22 (74’-75’) C&C 29 (76’-81’) and Newport 41 (82’-94’). Spent over four decades of sailing on Narragansett Bay, Long Island Sound, Buzzards Bay, Vineyard and Nantucket sound, Cape Cod Bay, Gulf of Maine spending the majority of my life on the water sailing.
